Hays is currently partnered with a Geelong based Hotel to recruit a Front Office Manager in a permanent capacity for an immediate start. With 128 apartments in the building, this company is the ideal location for leisure or business accommodation in Geelong.

**Your new role**

Reporting directly to the General Manager, this hands-on position will see you drive the performance of Front Office Operations.

Responsibilities will include:

- Oversee all front office operations including the check in and check out process
- Actively maintain the room rate strategy for the property, constantly keeping up to date with rates in the market
- Train and mentor the front office team, leading from the front in all aspects of operational management
- Be the driver of our policies and procedures
- Meticulously plan and be 100% prepared for all Group and VIP activity
- Manage all aspects of the properties PMS (RMS)
- Be guest obsessed and passionate about team development, guest loyalty and have an eye for the little things.
- Ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Front Office Operations with a high level of guest service always provided.

**What you'll need to succeed**

To be considered for this role, you will have:

- Demonstrated experience in a Front Office Manager role or Property Management position.
- Previous experience with RMS property management system would be highly desirable
- Have a passion for creating exceptional experiences for guests.
- Excellent problem resolution skills along with outstanding communication and active listening skills.
- Have a genuine passion for bringing out the best and building the capabilities of the team, enjoy being guest facing and taking the guest experience to the next level.

**What you'll get in return**

This role offers you an attractive annual salary, full time hours and a working schedule of Tuesday to Saturday/Monday to Friday on a weekly rotating roster. Onsite parking is available.
