**You will make an impact by**:

- Building trusted partnerships with the business and our service providers.
- Working with and at the direction of the Head of Applications to proactively manage vendors in line with agreements, maintenance contracts, service level agreements, compliance standards and regulations.
- Working with peers to ensure business continuity through the creation of and adherence to the required DR and BCP plans.
- Processing optimisation through implementation, adherence and governance to best practices and procedures
- Leading the team responsible for support and maintenance of the Epworth Applications portfolio
- Forecasting, managing and monitoring resource capability & capacity;
- Developing lines for open team access and communication and proactively manage employee issues expeditiously, mitigating risk;
- Proactively develop team capability and capacity to ensure IT continues to meet the changing needs of the organisation;
**To be successful in this role yo**u will have**:

- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and or equivalent mix of education and relevant experience
- Extensive information systems and supervisory management experience in a complex organisation, preferably within the Health Sector or similar
- Postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience; or extensive management experience and proven management expertise; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
- 7+ years in IT industry with experience in delivery, software support and/or development. - Demonstrated experience in managing and leading a team of professionals delivering high level organisational support services and ensuring the ongoing capability and responsiveness of the team in a service oriented and rapidly changing environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities whilst working across multiple business as usual and project based initiatives simultaneously to consistently deliver high quality outcomes.
- Excellent relationship management and consulting skills with demonstrated ability to develop effective strategic relationships with key stakeholders and colleagues including the ability to influence, negotiate and coach at senior levels.
