**Location Profile**:
The school places special emphasis on its co-curricular program. Years 9 and 10 students spend a week at the Outdoor Education Centre at Millgrove in the Yarra Valley. Sport is compulsory at all levels. The music and drama programmes are extensive and include the house choral competition in March, Winter Concert, musical and drama productions (generally conducted in cooperation with the MacRobertson Girls' High School) and the whole school Speech Night at the end of the year. Students are also encouraged to form their own special interest clubs. There are many opportunities for student leadership at all levels.
In addition to government funding the School seeks voluntary contributions from parents.
**Role**:
The role of the Enrolment/Administration Officer is to:
- Work collaboratively with the Principal and Business Manager in the student enrolment process.
- Provide administration skills to support the Principal and Administration team in student enrolment and student data management.
- Perform other School Administration tasks.
- Support Reception and First Aid as required.
Range 3 is distinguished by the introduction of management responsibility and accountability for the delivery of professional support services. The role will usually impact beyond the work area or professional field. It seeks to gain cooperation of other staff members or members of the school community to achieve specific objectives, such as in school administration, operations or educational programs.
Direction on targets and goals is provided but the position will have some degree of latitude in determining how they are achieved. This latitude will generally be limited by standard procedures and school policy. Deviation from standard procedures and school policy will require guidance and direction from senior management.
**Responsibilities**:
The responsibilities for the Enrolment/Administration Officer role include but are not limited to the following:
- Liaise with Student Excellence Unit of the Department of Education relating to year 9 enrolments; observe the SEU policy and implement the guidelines
- Liaise with testing company for other years' enrolments, ensuring online registration sites are uploading and functioning on the School's website
- Ensure enrolment on School's website is updated as required
- Plan and arrange Principal's Information Evening and School tours for prospective parents and students
- Advertise the events, take bookings and attend events to present enrolment policies
- Plan and arrange sitting of entrance exam, booking testing venue with internal stakeholders
