The Production Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing coordination and execution of production orders to ensure production runs smoothly, efficiently and in line with the go-to-market calendar. Acting as an escalation point for any Production Order (PO) issues, this role will collaborate across Brands, Sourcing and Supply as well as vendors to address potential delays and ensure orders are accurately fulfilled.
This role is also responsible for managing team workload and developing strategic initiates to optimise efficiencies within the team as well as leading, inspiring and cultivating a high performing team that attracts and retains top talent.
**Key Accountabilities**
- Manage a team of Production Coordinators to ensure that orders are accurately reflected and fulfilled by the vendors
- Oversee PO execution, coordinate prioritisation with Head of Production Heads, and manage escalations for PO issues.
- Ensure accurate vendor setup in systems for smooth engagement and track performance, providing feedback to meet SLAs.
- Complete reporting and provide insights by brand for the GM Strategic Sourcing & Production and Heads of Production
- Collaborate with Production teams to identify key patterns, areas of opportunity and efficiencies.
- Provide leadership and direction to team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
- Embrace uncertainty and change while facilitating and enabling strategic change with clarity, empathy and optimism.
- Create & foster an inclusive environment where all team members can thrive and feel included, respected and safe. Set clear expectations of behaviour and hold self and others accountable.
**Key Capabilities**
- Proven experience in a similar role, understanding the production process and leading, coaching and developing a team.
- Demonstrated ability to influence internal and external stakeholders along with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders to deliver to timelines.
- Experience with managing multiple stakeholders to deliver to timelines
- Knowledge of process improvement techniques with the ability to create reports and problem solve
