About the role
An exciting immediate opportunity awaits you as an integral part of our established Supply Chain Team here at MCC Melbourne. This position will work across day shifts from Monday to Friday and will join a team that is the driving force behind our production professionals.
**In this exciting and varied role, you will**:
- Oversee raw material ordering, receipting and warehousing systems and procedures.
- Coordinate and conduct company stocktakes, weekly cycle counts and resolution on any stock discrepancies with monthly reporting to Finance.
- Perform manual handling tasks.
- Purchase order and inventory reconciliation tasks.
- Train and mentor team members on best practices and safety procedures.
- Collaborate closely with scheduling, production and despatch teams to prioritise urgent deliveries and minimize delays.
- Communicate effectively with production planners to ensure materials are available when needed.
- Learn and assist in general Warehousing duties as required.
About you
- High regard for Safety
- Proficient in Inventory Management (both Raw Materials and Finished Goods)
- Forklift licence (LF Essential, EWP Yellow Card and/or LO favourable)
- Physically capable of performing manual handling tasks.
- IT savvy, able to operate a computer. Intermediate MS Office Skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Eligible Australian working rights.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and problem-solve effectively
