**Forklift Driver/Operator**

We are a food manufacturing factory. Your role will be to coordinate stock within the warehouse and ensure goods are received and dispatched efficiently and effectively. The workload is high-volume and fast-paced.

Full-time permanent position approx. - 6.30am to 3.30pm, Monday to Thursday and Friday 6.30am to 1.30pm.

The successful applicant preferably will:

- Have warehouse experience
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Receive and dispatch stock and ensure correct documentation
- Knowledge of pallet management
- Pick, prepare and pack orders as well as checking and processing orders and receipt and dispatch of stock in a timely manner
- Have experience loading and unloading vehicles/trucks
- Be physically & medically fit and able to lift heavy items
- Take ownership of inventory management/control of the warehouse
- Assist with stock rotation of inventory and remove expired items
- General warehouse and other related duties.
- Experience within the food industry preferred

You will be responsible for the warehouse as if it were your own business and also be expected to carry out other tasks not limited to the above.

**Salary**: From $35.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Clayton, VIC 3168: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Manual handling: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Order Picking Forklift Licence (preferred)
- Forklift Licence (required)
- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
