Operations Manager

**What you'll bring to the role**:
We’re looking for someone who can confidently lead the overall operations of the venue, with a particular emphasis on fitness services, member satisfaction, and team development. Key skills and attributes include:

- Strong leadership and decision-making skills
- A passion for fitness and experience working in or managing a gyM/Fitness environment
- Strong communication and people management abilities
- Operational discipline and excellent time management
- The ability to coach, mentor and support staff development
- Confidence to manage and lead in a customer-facing setting
- A high attention to detail and ability to translate vision into action
- Financial and administrative capability
- A commitment to customer service and member satisfaction
- Professionalism, accountability, and resilience
- A focus on safety and maintaining high facility standards

**Essential Qualifications (or willingness to obtain)**:

- Current Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
- Current First Aid Certification (essential)
- Current CPR (within 6 weeks of start)
- Pool Lifeguard (within 4 weeks of start)
- Swim Teaching Qualification (essential)
- We offer in-house training and discounted rates on required qualifications._

Some weekend work and occasional split shifts may be required as part of the role.
