Mission The Operations Executive role is to ensure the smooth running of day to day operations, transport allocation for VIC, SA & WA, train and develop team members, and provide ongoing support to executive level management. This role also calls for superior communication skills in order to effectively maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Main contribution Safety - Ensuring Regulated Air Cargo Agent (RACA) guidelines are met and exeeded, including, but not limited to: SOP implementation, training, development; - Responsible for the upkeep and safe operation of all transport equipment such as vehicles, packaging materials, safety equipment, cool rooms, pallet racking etc; - Ensure safe work practices are adhered to for all transport related maters. Operations - Manage all operational and adminisrative functions for VIC, SA & WA; - Provide ongoing support to the executive team on a daily basis, whilst training and developing team members; - Project administration which ensure achievements of the business objectives; - Account management and stakeholder engagement; - Preparation and dispatch of all outbound freight; - Liaise with Suppliers/Transport Companies; - Liaise with the operations team to assist with daily packaging preparation. Any additional duties deemed necessary for the efficient operation of the Warehouse. Specific Experience & Knowledge Required - Knowledge of temperature-controlled packaging systems; - Ability to work under pressure Proficient knowledge of inventory and inventory controls; - Valid drivers' license; - Ability to overcome obstacles; - Proficient computer skills. Interpersonal skills ("Essential") - Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills; - Team player; - “Can do” attitude; Demonstrated problem solving skills. Ability to manage projects and multi-task; - Excellent organizational skills; - Must have strong self-motivation and the ability to work and think independently; - Organization and prioritization skills with strong attention to detail.
