Our client is on the lookout for a Dispatch Coordinator to join there team at their South Melbourne head office. As the Dispatch Coordinator, you will play a role in managing dispatch operations, ensuring efficient mail and shipping activities, and maintaining effective communication with various stakeholders. This is a 6-month contract role with an immediate start.

**About the Job**:

- Effectively manage dispatch operations, including coordinating mail and shipping activities.
- Communicate with third parties, handle general inquiries, and provide excellent customer service.
- Engage with stores to ensure timely delivery and return of items.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with third-party suppliers.
- Handle heavy lifting tasks as required.
- Operate forklifts to assist with loading and unloading.

**About You**:

- Must hold a valid forklift license.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders.
- Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks.
- Strong planning and organizational abilities, exercising sound judgment.
- Strong attention to detail
- Well-presented with a quick learning ability.
- Administrative skills in Microsoft Office suite of products
