**The Opportunity**
This newly scoped position will play an integral part in the success of the G8 Educations brand, reputation, and corporate success, now and into the future. The Manager of Communications’ key objective is to protect and enhance G8 Educations Brand and reputation through internal and external communications which bring to life our purpose, strategy, and values.
**Your day-to-day**
No two days are the same; this role is diverse, with depth and breadth to cement your career, now and into the future. Areas of core responsibility include, but are not limited to:
- Develop and implement an integrated media, PR, and master brand social media plan to build our brand and reputation with all stakeholders in alignment with G8 Education’s purpose and strategy.
- Develop issues and crisis management plans including leading communications responses to issues and incidents, considering media, team member and family communications, as well as other relevant stakeholders.
- Support events, sponsorships and other initiatives which grow advocacy for G8 Education and the early learning sector, highlighting our credibility and commitment to supporting high quality early learning outcomes for children across Australia.
- Partner with the People Team, Operations Team, Marketing Team and other functions, to deliver internal communications which support delivery of our core business operations, our strategy and key engagement initiatives.
- Promote G8 Education’s community partnerships to build team member, family and community engagement in a way that builds trust and advocacy for our brand.
- Work closely with the Finance and Legal teams to support their delivery of key investor relations communications, including results and Annual Report.
- Lead and manage the Communications team.

- 5+ years of experience in a like minded organization ( preferably ASX-Listed)
- Demonstrates professionalism and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Demonstrated experience working in a fast paced, multi-site organisation.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship building
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong time management and organising skills.
- Demonstrates initiative, capacity to work without supervision and confidence in decision making.
