- About the Role

We have a great opportunity available for either a Junior Automation Analyst or an Automation Specialist to join us. We are looking for a well-rounded highly motivated individual who wants to be part of our journey into an industry leading Automation Team. This role has a preferred base at our head office on Collins Street, Melbourne, however we are also open to having a base of Parramatta, NSW, or Fortitude Valley, QLD.

About The Role
You will play a crucial role in delivering data driven solutions to our business. Working closely with project stakeholders, your primary focus will be contributing to the overall efficiency of our projects by delivering and maintaining automated data solutions across a variety of contracts and divisions within Service Stream.

Your key responsibilities may include:
- Working with our Project Teams to scope, deliver and maintain automated processes across a variety of platforms.- Taking ownership of, and actively managing and monitoring existing solutions.- Becoming a key point of contact for the GBIS Automation Team for our project SMEs.- Working with the remainder of the Automation Team to assist with development and day-to-day activities.- Contributing to business process improvement through maintaining industry best practices.- Coaching and mentoring our junior colleagues, ensuring a collaborative working relationship with the team.- Identify opportunities for automation throughout the business and internally, develop business cases to support these.
- Note: for the junior role the responsibilities will change to reflect the level of position._

About You:
- Tertiary qualifications in science, maths, engineering or technology.- Strong working knowledge with ETL Processes (Safe Software FME Platform, Alteryx, PowerAutomate, LogicApps, etc.) (S_enior role only_).- Proficiency with SQL (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or alike) (Se_nior role only_).- Strong technical and professional communication skills, mentoring, and stakeholder management skills (S_enior role only_)- Exposure to one or more of the following would be highly beneficial:
- CI/CD tools like Jira, Git-
- Database administration, system integrations and data analytics-
- Programming languages (Python, R, etc.)-
- Project management information systems and their use in construction and maintenance projects (Sitetracker or IFS would be highly regarded). How To Apply
