The story of me&u is the story of us - a community working together to build a brighter future for the hospitality industry. Our goal is to transition the world to a smarter menu - and we are well underway on making that happen
Over the last year, we have grown exponentially and me&u is now the way to order and pay for a number of hospitality groups around the world (yes we have gone global). We are Australia’s most innovative, leading order and pay solution chosen by the best venues and groups in hospo - but we still have a lot more work to do in making our vision a reality
Our Product team is looking for a passionate, structured, and innovative Product Manager that is looking to make a mark and change the F&B industry.
You will be working across the product, but we are looking for someone to focus primarily on all me&u Operator facing tools (including the operator portal, content management system, venue management) as well as Internal facing tools (including support portals, finance management systems, error escalation tools).

requirements needed to enhance product market fit
- Analyse internal BI data to present research findings in order to validate assumptions
- Work with to BI team develop and update tracking plans for new and existing features

- Work closely with our leadership team to schedule tasks into a sprint
- Work directly with our Developers and manage sprint tasks for a scrum team. This includes facilitating
backlog grooming sessions, organising designs, and creating tasks. You will work mainly with our Tools team on all things Operator and Internal facing.
- Manage the product process - from idea, to investigation, UX design briefs, through to creating and
delivering tasks
- Have a voice and an opinion (backed my data), in this role you will have the opportunity to influence the
product roadmap
- Train internal teams on new features, and ensure there is a smooth handover between product and account onboarding teams
- Provide relevant roadmaps to our operations, sales and marketing teams so that they can excite and prepare customers
Desired Skills & Experience
- You have at least 3-5 years experience as a product manager
- Ideally, you have already gained experience with products in food-related & e-commerce industries (bonus if you have experience working with point of sale (POS) systems)
- You work independently, structured and conscientiously
- You think in terms of business and are data and process-driven in your work
- You convince with professionalism and conscientiousness in your dealings with stakeholders
- You are highly organized and always have an eye on deadlines
- You move fast and run at the pace of our fast moving Development team
