**What you will be doing**

Located in Sydney, an opportunity now exists for a Health and Safety Regional Lead for Australia, New Zealand (ANZ) to join our dynamic team who support the wider Global Asset Protection team.

You be responsible for the supporting the Global Health and Safety organization in the Health and Safety Corporate Management System and Standards implementation within the ANZ region and ensuring Health and Safety legal compliance in ANZ, communicating potential gaps and implementing corrective actions plans.

**This role will**:

- Lead and Coordinate Health and Safety activities performed by Health and Safety team and/or Health and Safety service providers
- Provide a technical knowledge base and consultative support to all businesses and functions.
- Report Health and Safety performance to Global Health and Safety organization and local authorities
- Promote communication activities to enhance Health and Safety programs.
- Set up and agree with Global Health and Safety Manager financial forecast and meet financial targets
- Coordinate Health and Safety legally required training program and ensure deliverables
- Coordinate Health and Safety audit program in assigned countries
- Ensure Emergency Preparedness Procedures are in place and up-to-date
- Support OSHAS 18001 sites to maintain the certification.

**The skills you will bring**
- Tertiary Education in Health and Safety - preferred or tertiary education in related field and post graduate studies in Health and Safety
- Health and Safety Management Systems experience - ISO14001 and OHSAS18001
- Health and Safety compliance and systems auditing
- Good knowledge about Health and Safety regulations and trends
- Risk management and project management skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to build strong relationships across different levels of company organization
