**What you’ll do**

In the effort to support AZ GXP Future of Work (GXP FOW) initiative, you will be part of this newly formed Marketing Company Operation Quality (MCOQ) unit. The ANZ MCOQ Quality Lead will play a crucial role in maintaining our local license to operate and driving excellence in Affiliate GMP & GDP quality activities across ANZ. The main responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

- Serving as the primary point of expertise for GMP&GDP activities in ANZ and contributing to Quality Management System (QMS) process development, operations and maintenance.
- Taking accountability for the ANZ Affiliate Quality Management Review process, including reporting metrics to senior leadership.
- Supporting global standardization, simplification, and continuous improvement of Affiliate Quality processes.
- Ensuring compliance with AZ internal GMP&GDP quality standards and ANZ-specific regulatory requirements.
- Facilitating GMP/GDP training, mentoring, and self-assessments for the MC QMS.
- Supervising KPIs, identifying compliance risks, and establishing improvement priorities.
- Leading GMP&GDP strategy and activities across markets in ANZ, collaborating with commercial SET leaders and regional heads.

**Essential for the role**
- Degree or equivalent professional qualification in a related field
- Experience in quality assurance within a pharmaceutical manufacturing or distribution environment
- Demonstrated expert-level knowledge of GMP/GDP quality management; Experience in GMP/GDP country commercial quality roles
- Excellent communication and organization skills with the ability to make decisions and influence positive outcomes for the organization
- Shown experience in compliance reporting and quality performance tracking
- Leadership skills to drive strategy, implement frameworks, and run a multi-layered team

**Desirable for the role**
- Post-graduate qualification
- Line management experience
