**Australand Agriculture Pty Ltd **is an established Quality Agricultural Products retailer based in Wangara, Western Australia, in the business of - fertilisers, irrigation products, equipment and crop protection products that serve and help our local farmers grow. Due to significant growth we are seeking a highly motivated Area Sales Manager to help capture our growing demand. This person we seek will need to be a highly motivated and experienced individual to be responsible for managing and developing a customer base in the assigned area to achieve sales and profitability targets.

**Key Attributes we are looking for**:

- Minimum 5 years’ experience in agriculture business
- Passion for agriculture and support of our farmers

- strong internal and external customer relationships
- Strong emphasis on customer service

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Good computer skills, proficient in MS Office
- A current drivers license

**About your Role and Responsibilities**:
Your primary role will be to service an existing client base and develop new customer relationships within the horticultural, turf, nursery, and landscaping markets. In doing so you aim to achieve your sales, profitability and strategic targets.

**Your tasks will include**:

- Develop an effective sales plan and call on existing and prospective customers to promote Australand Agriculture's products and services
- Manage debtor payment collections and customer credit limits
- Picking, packing, invoicing and delivering product orders as necessary
- Preparation and receipt of appropriate documentation throughout the sale process
- Managing the order to make sure successful timely delivery
- Develop effective written proposals, quotations, and presentations
- Developing fertiliser programs. In house knowledge is available to assist with this if needed
- Represent Australand Agriculture at field days, functions, conferences
- Prepare monthly sales reports
- Assists with the development of new products and services
- Build and maintain accurate records of daily activities, market information, etc.

**Desirable Criteria**
- Qualifications in Horticulture, Agronomy, Agricultural Science, or a related discipline;
- Bilingual in English & Vietnamese
- AgSafe accreditation
