Junior and Senior Lawyer | Construction and Infrastructure Experience | Permanent

Hays Legal has partnered with an established law firm to recruit for an Associate and a Senior Associate in the Construction and Infrastructure practice area. You will join a reputable and thriving practice and work with a high performing and supportive team who view the broader success of the firm as paramount.

**Your new role**
In this role, you will work alongside Senior Associate and Partners to advise Australia's largest residential property developers, commercial and industrial builders, engineers and other professional stakeholders, on all aspects of construction law, including procurement, contract production and negotiation, claims preparation and dispute resolution. You will be working with Blue-Chip clients to:

- Draft, review and negotiate contracts for construction projects.
- Provide advice and formal legal opinions on construction and project disputes
- Prepare claims ready for arbitration, litigation and determination.
- Be proactive in business development

**What you'll need to succeed**
To be considered for this position, you will have:

- Tertiary Qualification in Law & Admission to practice.
- At least 3 years PQE - Associate
- At least 5 years PQE - Senior Associate
- Experience in front-end tender and contract review, drafting and negotiation
- Experience within construction litigation and arbitration
- The ability to demonstrate excellent time management and efficient working
- Demonstrated experience with building customer, client and stakeholder relationships
- An interest in business development, building a practice and mentoring junior lawyers
