**About the role**

Join Ventia as our National Manager - Contracts for our Defence Base Services Division. This position will oversee performance and governance on the contract and ensure that we are meeting and exceeding our contractual obligations.

You will lead a small and experienced team of professionals and be a key contact for our client relations.

This position can be based from anywhere in Australia and either utilise one of our many metro or regional offices or work from home.

**What you will be doing**:

- Oversee KPI performance management framework providing advice and guidance to Performance & Reporting Manager, and ensuring senior management are aware of any potential contractual breaches.
- Manage the reporting and close out of contract breaches.
- Manage, guide, train, and support Security Officers.
- Provide guidance to Ventia business on Defence Industry Security Program (DISP) and maintaining compliance.
- Maintain databases, registers, and procedure manuals relevant to the team’s functions.
- Review and ensure timely delivery of monthly contractual reports, KPI performance reports, statutory declarations and ad hoc reporting for our client.
- Develop toolbox talks and other mechanisms to improve the compliance and security culture.
- Travel required across Australia on a semi regular basis.

**About you**
- Able to successfully engage stakeholders from various levels of the business.
- Great leadership and ability to manage employees who are remotely located, providing support and guidance.
- Results focused with the ability to identify and prioritise problems and issues, generate solutions and work collaboratively to achieve a successful outcome.
- Must be eligible to hold a Defence Security Clearance up to the level of Negative Vetting Level 1. As a result of this requirement the incumbent must be an Australian Citizen.
