Overview:

- The Manager, Procurement and Contracts is responsible for procurement contract management functions for Digital Health SA activities to ensure that value for money is realised and contracts deliver the required outcomes, requiring that they are administered efficiently, and risks are managed appropriately across the local health network. The incumbent leads the development of policies and strategies in specialised areas that contribute to the overall strategic procurement policy and advice, which supports defined DHW and Government goals.
- The incumbent represents DHSA in senior level and/or inter-agency delegations and negotiations pertaining to procurement and is responsible for the provision of high-level specialist advice and leadership, which ensures the delivery of efficient and effective procurement and contract management for DHSA.
- In addition, the incumbent ensures contract management processes comply with Treasurers Instruction 18, Procurement Supply Chain Management (PSCM) and Procurement Services SA policy requirements and implements control measures to effectively manage commercial risks.
