Job reference: 702231

Location: Adelaide CBD

Job status: Ongoing appointment

Eligibility: Open to Everyone

ASO8 $121,107 to $125,679 pa + superannuation

At the Department for Infrastructure and Transport, we are connecting South Australia to keep our State moving. We are responsible for delivering a multi-billion-dollar pipeline of transformative transport and social infrastructure projects, operating and maintaining thousands of kilometres of roads and managing our city's public transport network.

Our work encompasses every part of our State; from our cities to our regions, connecting and strengthening community. We value diversity and inclusion and foster an environment of collaboration, flexibility, and support for our people.

The Opportunity

We're looking for a Senior Contract Manager to lead our work with the Facilities Management Service Provider (FMSP) under the Across Government Facilities Management Arrangements (AGFMA). This is an ongoing opportunity to play a strategic leadership role where you'll ensure contracts deliver as agreed, manage risks, and provide value for money across participating agencies.

You'll lead a dedicated Contract Management team, oversee governance arrangements, and drive improvements to service models over the life of the contract. As a key member of the AGFMA Leadership Team, you'll also handle disputes and provide expert advice to senior stakeholders.

This is a great chance to step into a permanent leadership role and make a real impact on how services are delivered across the state.

About you

You're a strategic thinker with solid leadership and contract management experience. You know how to deliver customer-focused services that support government priorities, explain complex ideas in plain language, negotiate outcomes, and build strong relationships  -- even when issues are sensitive.

You understand AGFMA operations, risk management and policy development, and you use that knowledge to find practical, innovative solutions. You're comfortable analysing information, improving processes and leading teams with accountability, clarity and purpose in a fast-moving environment.

Special Conditions.
