If you are the type of person who is serious about building a career in the fashion industry, this role will provide a platform with plenty of scope to learn new skills on the job within this fast-paced team. It is a diverse role with lots of creative challenges. You will report directly to our Mia Fratino Marketing Coordinator working from our spacious Melbourne design headquarters & showroom in the heart of Balaclava. The role is a unique balance of assisting in graphic design, digital and traditional marketing + copy writing. You will have day-to-day contact with our Sydney office as well as some of Australia & New Zealand’s top fashion retailers and the opportunity to develop diverse skills within our rapidly growing company. This is not a 'pigeon-hole' job. The successful applicant will be exposed to many different design, marketing & online sales challenges. We invest in developing skills to help everyone do their job smarter and more effectively. **Summary** - You have advanced graphic design skills (Photoshop, InDesign & Illustrator) - You have a well-trained design aesthetic and understanding of layout and font hierarchy - You have strong copy writing skills with finesse to execute brand narrative specific to a luxury brand. - You have excellent verbal communication skills because what you say and how you say it reflects on our brand - You have a passion for digital & traditional marketing and can surprise with your ideas - You are extremely organised and self-motivated - You naturally focus on 'the details' to make sure things are correct - You like to think big and are constantly learning new things - You have a keen interest in fashion and design innovation - You develop strong effective relationships and know how to maintain them - You own a pair of runners because you will not be sitting all day **Duties and Responsibilities** **will include the following** - Assisting our Marketing Coordinator in executing yearly marketing calendar - Executing Social Media scheduling and content creation - EDM campaign creation - Klaviyo or Mailchimp experience preferred - Assisting the company not just to keep up in the fast-moving digital space, but to strive well beyond - Shopify e-commerce management - product uploading and retouching of images - Brand narrative / copywriting - composing content for Blogs + EDMs - Following briefs to create marketing material - POS boards, swing tickets & look books + image editing (Photoshop) - Managing print logistics - Scheduling and calendaring for upcoming planning - Warehouse “Pop-up sale” assistance - biannual events - Assisting with other marketing events - Assisting with photoshoots and styling - some travel required - Daily office running tasks **Skills and Experience**: **Key Attributes - The things we will be looking for in the right person**: - Advanced skills in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop + Illustrator (image retouching and look-book layouts) - Well trained (graphic) design aesthetic relevant to luxury branding - with industry refined skills specific to layout and font hierarchy - Excellent copywriting skills - with the ability to execute luxury brand narrative - Strong experience in EDM campaign building - (basic coding for template edits would be preferable but not essential) - Experience with Shopify platform - management of products, collections and Apps - Proficient planning and organisation skills - ability to independently manage own tasks. - Background in fashion design and/or relevant industry experience - Proficient skills in Microsoft Word and Excel - Strong attention to detail and accuracy so things get done right - first time - You are a proactive and forward thinker - to be a step ahead - A "Can Do" attitude **Benefits a
