About the Role
- Attend and perform secretariat duties in meetings and disseminate information within the area when required including training sessions.
- Receive, document and discuss in a timely manner with health consumers any complaints, problems or commendations made by the person about the Princess Alexandra Hospital (PAH), in accordance with Queensland Health and Hospital and Health Service Complaint Management Policies.
- Maintain the database for recording patient complaints to allow reports of all issues and complaints to be analysed, trends identified, and recommendations made to the Hospital Executive and Clinical Division Executive Staff.
- Facilitate the maintenance and review of a hospital-wide patient complaint monitoring system, ensuring services are reviewed and improved where necessary, especially in those risk areas identified for 'potential complaints'.
