**Role**: Carpentry Trainer and Assessor

**Job Type**: Casual. (This role hybrid, both in the office and in the classroom with students).

**Location**: Newcastle, NSW

**Salary**: $55- $60 per hour

**What We Are Looking For**:
Our company is introductory and continuing education in Business, Hospitality, Construction, Carpentry, Horticulture, Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability and Training & Assessment. We’re looking for qualified Trainer and Assessor for Carpentry who is passionate about Vocational Education and wants to play an instrumental role in delivering quality training & assessment services to our students.

To be a successful trainer, you will need to have an in-depth knowledge of Construction Carpentry and a passion for mentioning and passing on your knowledge to the next generations. This role offers you the flexibility you’re looking for with casual hours. It’s an opportunity to make a positive difference in the community.

**Qualifications and other requirements**:

- Hold CPC30220 Certificate III Carpentry
- Hold CPC20220 Certificate II in Construction
- TAE40116 or TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment - or TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment with the TAE upgraded units TAELLN411 Address Adult Language, Literacy And Numeracy Skills and TAEASS502 Design And Develop Assessment Tools or equivalent
- Recent Industry Currency relevant to the industry you’ll be teaching in
- Willingness to travel to student workplaces when necessary - Fuel Card & Travel Allowance provided

Pay: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- Carpentry Trainer and Assessor: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- CPC30220 Certificate III Carpentry (preferred)
- CPC20220 Certificate II in Construction (preferred)
- TAE (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Work Location: In person
