**About Us**

Skilled Care is part of the wider LionHouse Group of companies and has been a Registered Training Organisation since 2009 (RTO# 31942). We are a training organisation who take pride in quality training and making a real impact in the industries which we operate. We operate in QLD, NSW, and VIC.

Our programs are commencing at employer locations in the Newcastle and Maitland area and are looking for part time, casual, and even contract trainers. We are a friendly bunch with a core value of Respect and we enjoy what we do

**About You**

**We need you Qualified in**:

- TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent)
- CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent)

**Summary of Responsibilities**:

- Delivery of Nationally Recognised Courses
- Classroom and on the job observations and assessments
- Identifying LLN issues
- Supporting students through duration of course
- Marking and processing of course paperwork
- Ensuring paperwork is completed to the compliance standard and submitted within required time frame
- Attend professional development workshops to develop knowledge and skills as well as your industry currency and trainer/ assessor competence

- Trainer with the ability to engage a wide variety of personalities & demographic backgrounds; a passion for mentoring is highly valued

- Attention to detail; we are serious about providing the best outcome we can
- Team player; a demonstrated history of positively cooperating with others is a must
- Excellent communication verbal & written
- Reliable and flexible with availability

You must hold a Current Working with Children's Check and be vaccinated to be considered for the roles.

**Job Type**: Contract

**Salary**: $70.00 - $75.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

**Experience**:

- Teaching: 1 year (preferred)
