Role Description

This is a contract on-site role for a Trainer and Assessor, located in Newcastle, NSW. The Trainer and Assessor will be responsible for delivering training programs, assessing student competencies, and maintaining accurate records. The role includes conducting classroom-based and practical training, ensuring training materials are up-to-date, and providing feedback to students. The Trainer and Assessor will also support students in achieving their learning goals, assess their progress, and comply with the organisation's and industry's standards and regulations.

Qualifications

  • Experience in training design and delivery, conducting assessments, and providing feedback
  • Strong organisational and record-keeping skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work on-site in a classroom or training environment
  • Relevant industry experience and qualifications
  • TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment equivalent or higher.
  • CHC Certificate III in Individual Support equivalent or higher.
  • Knowledge of SRTO 2025 and relevant regulatory requirements
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and industry currency.
