**Compliance Manager (Compliance Frameworks)**
**About the Role**
Join our team as the Compliance Frameworks Manager, a pivotal role within Youi's Compliance team. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that our operations adhere to applicable legislation, regulations, and industry standards. In addition to maintaining compliance, you will contribute to the strategic direction of our compliance initiatives under the guidance of the Head of Compliance.
We seek an individual with exceptional drafting abilities, adept at navigating legal and regulatory requirements as well as best practice standards. This role doesn't involve people management but focuses on managing our frameworks and enhancing compliance capabilities across the organisation. Effective stakeholder management is essential as you work to keep Youi at the forefront of compliance practices.
This is a hybrid position that can be based in Fortitude Valley, or at our HQ on the Sunshine Coast, offering flexibility to work from home on Mondays and Fridays.
**Key priorities**:
- Stay current with legal requirements and best practices for compliance risk management at Youi.
- Enhance and maintain Youi’s Compliance Management Framework, providing recommendations for improvements.
- Lead compliance efforts on regulatory change projects as needed.
- Provide guidance to the Line 2 Compliance team on matters related to the Compliance Management Framework and compliance expectations generally.
- Manage and co-ordinate compliance training and awareness activities being delivered by Line 2 Compliance to the business.
- Assist the Head of Compliance with reporting to executive leadership, RiskCo, the Board Risk Committee, and the Board on the Compliance Management Framework and its performance.
**About You**
You will have:
- A Bachelor degree in Legal Studies, Commerce, Business Administration, Risk Management, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience in a Compliance role within the Financial Services sector (5 - 10 years is a general indicator).
- Familiarity with Australian legislation and regulatory frameworks.
- Proficiency in the principles of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and compliance methodologies.
- Understanding of financial services, particularly in the general insurance market.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and proficiency in proofreading.
- Robust time management skills, enabling handling of multiple tasks, projects, and deadlines effectively.
- Excellent people skills, facilitating relationship-building across all levels of the organisation.
- Adaptability and a proactive approach to navigating change in a fast-paced environment.
- Dedication to ongoing professional development and maintenance of relevant knowledge, skills, and certifications.
**How to apply**
Our Internal Talent Acquisition team exclusively manages all hiring processes, and we do not accept unsolicited resumes directed to hiring managers.
