**Marketing Risk and Compliance Specialist (part-time)**

**About the Role**

Our Marketing team are an incredible group of passionate specialists who are responsible for producing and communicating all external Youi advertising and messaging. Reporting to the Head of Strategic Delivery, the newly created Marketing Risk and Compliance Specialist role will coordinate and undertake a variety of first-line risk and compliance functions across the Marketing Department and be key in us meeting our objectives. The role will include the management of Risk Incidents and Issues, undertaking Controls testing, assisting with the development and maintenance of effective risk management and compliance processes. You will work closely with the second-line Risk, Legal and Compliance team to support the Marketing leadership team in delivering a comprehensive risk management and compliance program.

This role is a **_27 hour per week_**, Permanent Part-time role with flexible options for days and times of day you can be rostered, as well as working in office, or from home depending on the days worked.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Monitor risk incidents and issues and action in line with risk management frameworks.
- Manage rectification and remediation as required to resolve incidents and issues.
- Maintain regulatory compliance across Marketing in line with recommendations from second-line Risk, Legal and Compliance.
- Ensure risk register Controls are adequately designed and periodically test they are operating effectively.
- Partnering with Marketing stakeholders to uplift Risk Controls over time.
- Assist the Marketing Department to continuously improve risk awareness and control through information sharing and training.
- Monitor and report against relevant Risk KRI’s to support maintenance within appetite.
- Support the Marketing department’s approach to Business Continuity Management by ensuring Business Impact Analysis and Business Continuity Plans are up to date and periodically tested for effectiveness.

**About you**:

- Tertiary qualifications in risk and or compliance related disciplines desirable.
- Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in a risk/compliance related discipline preferred.
- In depth knowledge of organisational policies and practices.
- Strong numeracy, analytical and MS Excel skills.
- Ability to effectively manage and influence various stakeholders.
- Strong time management skills and ability to multitask.
- Proven ability to flex between strategy/thinking and detail/processing.
- An eagle eye for detail as well as a passion for improving processes and procedures.
