**Donor Relations Manager - Sydney, NSW**

**Purpose of the Job**

The Donor Relations Manager will communicate the organization's mission and work in an engaging, passionate, and professional manner. S/he will focus on implementing and delegating the initiatives of the Country Director. Managing a busy yearly calendar with various major events, as well as other fundraising initiatives, s/he will cultivate long-term relationships with donors. S/he will network with donors to advance the work of Coptic Orphans and promote the success of special projects. S/he will communicate the work of Coptic Orphans to stakeholders at, outreach private and public events.

**Essential Functions and Responsibilities**
- Cultivate and network with potential donors.
- Build strategic relationships with key influencers in the community;
- Build relationship and work closely with clergy and the Church.
- Create new leads, cultivate and manage existing donor relationships.
- Develop new and creative ideas for taking Coptic Orphans' fundraising and customer service to a new level.
- Promote Coptic Orphans programs, to supporters and volunteers with Coptic Orphans and engage them with our cause.
- Attend workshops and related events to promote the organization's work.
- Assist with monitoring performance against current and future KPIs
- Perform other tasks as necessary.

**Supervisory Responsibilities**
- Provide training, support, and oversight to Donor Relations Associates

**Required Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills**
- BA with a total of 7 years of work experience, including supervisory experience.
- Sales, presales and/or customer relations background is a plus.
- Excellent spoken/written English and Arabic.
- Excellent presentation and communications skills.
- Detail-oriented and able to strategically implement processes.
- Fundraising and/or marketing experience.
- Well organized with demonstrated ability to follow up on assignments and coordinate multiple parallel tasks efficiently.
- Experience with CRM software such as Salesforce
- Persuasive, polished, and articulate communicator.
- Must be comfortable to upsell and handle customers over the phone.

**Travel Requirement**

Some travel needed to meet with donors and outreach.
