About Us

Sydney Coaches & Bus Body Repairs is a leading specialist in commercial vehicle repairs, with a strong reputation for high-quality workmanship and a loyal client base. Based in Kingsgrove, NSW, we service a wide range of coaches, buses, and large vehicles, providing expert panel beating and body repairs.

Key Responsibilities

• Construct vehicle framework sections in metal, wood, fibreglass, aluminium, and reinforced plastic using shaping machines, cutting, and welding equipment.
• Bolt, screw, rivet, and weld sections together to form complete and secure frameworks.
• Cut, shape, and fit panels to frameworks, attaching them using hand and power tools.
• Modify assembly line vehicles to meet client specifications or special requirements.
• Prepare new vehicle trim work from drawings and sketches, remove old coverings/fittings, and take accurate new measurements.
• Select and cut fabric, vinyl, and leather pieces, and sew them using heavy-duty sewing machines.
• Install internal trim, including lining, floor coverings, and armrests.
• Fit and secure door trims, rubber seals, locks, and handles.
• Perform structural repairs, replacements, and alignment of vehicle body components.
• Maintain a strong focus on quality, safety, and timely delivery of all repair and fabrication tasks.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Body Builder or in a related trade (panel beating, fabrication, heavy vehicle repairs).
• Strong skills in welding, cutting, fabrication, and trimming techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and repair manuals.
• Commitment to safe work practices and high-quality standards.
• Eligibility to work in Australia.

Desirable

• Experience with bus and coach body repairs.
• Current Australian driver's licence.
