**About the Opportunity**
Reporting to the Change Lead, the Change Advisor partners with stakeholders and/or areas of the business to support the delivery of change activities related to the Change Management Plans for the ASC Digital Transformation Program.
This is a highly collaborative role which actively engages with multiple stakeholders and employees through the design and delivery of bespoke change and engagement activities which directly and positively impact organisational growth and development, as well as develops the required change management and engagement capabilities within ASC. The role delivers strategic change management advice and support to enhance and optimise the success, adoption and sustainability of change across ASC.
**About Digital Transformation Program**
The DTP program was established to facilitate more streamlined processes, enhance integration between systems and expand the use of real-time data to support decision-making. The Digital Transformation Program is critical to ensuring ASC embraces cutting-edge technologies to meet the needs of the Royal Australian Navy into the future, while continuing to deliver outstanding availability and performance of the Collins Class submarine fleet.
**Responsibilities**
- Build relationships within the organisation which help achieve business outcomes
- Influence Stakeholders in change management and operate in alignment to the Change Strategy
- Change readiness assessments are conducted to identify key changes in people, processes and systems across the required transformation or business initiatives
- Provision of change management advice, approaches and activities which optimise business awareness and readiness
- Design and develop effective stakeholder management plans, change plans, roadmaps, impact assessments and materials aligned to the business area, Change Strategy and in compliance with internal quality frameworks, external best practice and legal requirements where necessary
- Deliver change activities consistently, effectively and professionally in conjunction with stakeholders or managers to the impacted business areas
- Tailor change plans and activities depending on the impacted group and results of readiness assessments and move team members to adopt new ways of working
- Actively obtain feedback and subsequent action is taken in relation to effectiveness of change activities
- Identify trends, investigate and articulate recommendations
- Conduct people readiness assessments to measure the effectiveness of the change
- Stakeholders and business areas are informed and supported so change and engagement knowledge and activities are consistent and practised across ASC
**Desirable competencies and experiences**
- Tertiary level qualified with a minimum of 3-5 years’ professional experience including a minimum of 3 years in a specialist change, organisational development and/or engagement capacity
- Demonstrated experience at managing change and engagement at an organizational level
- Experience in the delivery of a similar role in an agile, dynamic and high paced program/project based environment
- Outstanding communication skills with the ability to effectively consult and negotiate with stakeholders, build positive relationships, and to collaborate and influence cross-functionally
- Excellent planning and organisation skills including the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work activities simultaneously
- The ability to effectively resolve issues and identify continuous improvement initiatives
- Proficiency in the MS Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
