**About the role**:
Reporting to the Head of Operations, the General Manager (GM) Operations - QLD will be responsible for transitioning teams and clients from an existing business, running, optimising and growing the operations and service delivery aspects of existing SVHA home healthcare services. Another key accountability for the role will be to collaborate and co-develop the national service delivery model and workforce plan.

The GM Operations will lead an improvement and learning culture and drive best practice and amazing end user experiences, Employee Value Proposition and Environment Social Governance landscape. This role will also support and at times lead the creation of business cases for future capabilities and implementation of new services and partnerships.

It is essential that the GM Operations collaborate and co-design with the Head of Operations, other SVVHH leaders and key stakeholders in relation to service, systems and processes design and implementation.

**The Person**:
To be considered for the position, you will be a strong people leader who demonstrates extensive Operational Healthcare experience and record of achievements at a senior General Manager level. This key leadership role for the business will be suited for someone who is excited at the opportunity of growing a new business.

Strong improvement background as well as a potential to learn and embrace will be essential for this role. Translating and embedding customer value, standardisation, process and outcome performance measuring will also be key requirements for this role.

You will have solid leadership and emotional intelligence skills with demonstrated ability to develop and deliver strategy through a complex customer-oriented environment through strong transformational leadership, analytical and strategic thinking.

Your strategic commercial capability and experience as a senior leader are underpinned by your ability to model SVHA values therefore ensuring that you assist SVHA to fulfil its mission and vision. It is essential that you demonstrate superior presentation and communication skills, with a personal presence and the ability to act confidently as the public spokesperson for the organisation.

Exceptional stakeholder relationship skills will be critical for this role as you will need to develop and foster essential networks and partnerships necessary to achieve organisational objectives through periods of growth and change. Ability to identify opportunities for change and lead improvement initiatives will be needed for this leadership position.
