**EHS Manager** who can drive positive change in our business. Based at our site in
**Tingalpa**
**this is hands on high pace role that will partner with our teams, build their skills and knowledge, and ensure we meet the highest safety and environmental standards.**

The EHS Manager works closely with all business functions to protect our team members, ensure all legal and due diligence obligations are met, certifications maintained, risks identified and controlled, and all relevant EHS training is completed. They will be familiar with operating in a metric driven be continually looking for ways to improvement both the numbers and the culture of the business.
**You Will Be**:
- Championing the safety agenda on site delivering innovative solutions, solving problems, and constantly improving our systems and processes.
- Maintaining the necessary EHS standards to ensure the environmental performance, and the health and safety of Queensland personnel, visitors and contractors to the Queensland sites are compliant with state & national legislation as well as PepsiCo standards.
- Implementing the PepsiCo ANZ strategic EHS plans at the Queensland site across all functions.
- Maintaining ISO45001/ASNZS4801 and ISO14001 certifications for the site and the continued renewal of the sites “Self-Insurance License”
- Implementing site workplace inspections and audits to identify work hazards, exposures and significant environmental aspects.
- Leading and develop the site EHS team ensuring all environmental programs, procedures, training, work practices and controls are effectively implemented.
- In conjunction with the ANZ EHS team, monitoring developing EHS regulatory requirements and risk initiatives; analyse potential impacts on system operations; and provide management with information as appropriate.
- Developing your team and team members across the business so they can perform, grow and teach others.
**You Will Have**:
- Proven site leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to take others with you, coach and to execute rapid team development.
- An extensive and practical knowledge of hazard and exposure identification, auditing, and inspections, conducting Environmental, Health & Safety training and related governmental reporting requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to analyse data and solve problems to guide safety/accident/injury elimination and environmental management.
- Tertiary qualifications in a Health & Safety discipline.
- Experience with Environmental management systems (additional tertiary qualifications welcomed)
- Have a solid, demonstrable working knowledge of local regulatory compliance requirements (across EHS).
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Safety (and Environmental) management in a Manufacturing environment
