We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Peer support workers with experience in mental health to join our team. In this role, you will provide individualized support to clients with disabilities, helping them achieve their personal goals and improve their overall well-being.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication management.
- Support clients in developing life skills, such as budgeting, cooking, and social interaction.
- Implement and monitor care plans tailored to each client's needs.
- Provide emotional support and encouragement to clients, fostering a positive and empowering environment.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including mental health professionals, to ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and incidents as required.
- Advocate for clients’ rights and support their independence and dignity.

**Qualifications**:

- Certificate III in Disability Support or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience working with individuals with disabilities, particularly those with mental health needs.
- Strong understanding of mental health issues and best practices in support.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathy, patience, and a passion for helping others.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
