**What we need from you**

Experience as a mental health and intellectual disability support worker

A qualification in mental health support or similar

Experience with Manual Handling (hoist use)

Calm, persistent and patient approach to supporting people with complex needs

Outgoing, optimistic personality

Willingness to learn.

Current Drivers Licence and Insured Vehicle.

Current Covid Vaccination

Availability to work a rotating roster.

**Your Responsibilities**

You will be involved in the direct support of people living with mental health and intellectual disabilities. This includes personal care, transport, social, and especially behavioural support. This role will involve sleepovers and weekend shifts on a regular basis.

**Essential Criteria**

Certificate in Mental Health, Disability or related fields of support.

Training and experience in mental health and intellectual disability support.

Current Australian driver's licence.

Comprehensively insured vehicle in good order.

Permission to work in Australia.

You will need to obtain an NDIS Worker Clearance if you don't currently have one.

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $39.00 - $98.00 per hour
