**Job Summary**: As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing excellent customer service and administrative support. You will manage patient appointments, handle inquiries, and assist with various office tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our clinic.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Patient Interaction**:

- Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments, including follow-ups and specialist referrals.
- Handle patient inquiries and provide information about services and procedures.
- **Administrative Duties**:

- Manage patient records and ensure accurate data entry.
- Process patient registrations, including updating personal information and verifying insurance details.
- **Financial Transactions**:

- Process payments and manage billing, including co-payments and insurance claims.
- Issue receipts and manage petty cash.
- **Clinic Coordination**:

- Assist medical staff with daily operations, including coordinating patient flow.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area and waiting rooms.
- Ensure that all necessary supplies and equipment are stocked and ordered.
- **Compliance and Confidentiality**:

- Adhere to patient confidentiality and data protection regulations.
- Follow clinic policies and procedures for handling medical records and patient information.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar administrative role is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with medical software (e.g., Best Practice, MedicalDirector) is an advantage.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and understanding of basic medical procedures.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
