Bookkeeper/office Administrator

We are looking for an experienced bookkeeper / administrator who is mature, enthusiastic and extremely well organised to join our small business. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a family owned and operated small business. Start date - late January. The days can be worked within school hours for parents. It would be highly advantageous if you have experience within the building industry as many of our clients form a part of this industry.
Essential Skills Are: - Proficient and highly skilled in your use MYOB.
- Organized & able to multi-task & switch between multiple businesses on any given day
- Fast learner within Cloud based software packages and all things IT
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised
- Must have prior experience in a similar role
- Must be able to work under pressure, prioritize and relay feedback smoothly Your Duties Will Include: - Accounts Payable and receivable including debt collection
- Processing of supplier invoices, payments and creditor reconciliations
- Bank reconciliation's, GST reconciliations and all control accounts
- Payroll reconciliation's, Superannuation prep and lodgment's
- Payroll
- Supervision of client business systems and admin duties and much more
To reiterate: this position requires an all-rounder, who is highly cloud-based software and app proficient, efficient in their work, speedy and highly accurate. You will be required to use MYOB, Outlook, Excel and Word on a regular basis and as such a minimum of intermediate experience in these programs is required. This position is located in Southport.
