**THE ROLE**
As a Case Manager in **Worker Insurance NSW **your role plays a crucial aspect to assisting an injured worker get their lives back. You will be the central point of contact for the injured worker, employer and any stakeholders that are part of the treatment plan to help the injured worker return to employment. As part of the workers compensation process, you will be paying the injured workers wages and any treatments that are approved.

**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Manage and priorities an ongoing portfolio of worker’s compensation claims with a focus on either psychological or physical based injuries.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with injured workers, employers and third-party service providers, including phone and face to face case conferences.
- Build and maintain relationships with a wide variety of stakeholder such as, injured workers, their employers, doctors, rehabilitation providers, etc. to help the injured worker get back to work as promptly and safely as possible.
- Develop and implement Injury Management plans to assist the injured workers’ return to work journey with the support of our onsite Injury Management Specialists
- Work in accordance with relevant legislation, and internal policies and procedures, with the support of our onsite Technical Specialists
**ABOUT YOU**
- You come from an exceptional customer service background and have a passion for helping people.
- Demonstrated experience in managing a Workers’ Compensation portfolio of claims or education in the field of physiotherapy, occupational therapy, exercise physiology, chiropractic is desired but not essential.
- You thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working collaboratively within a supportive team environment.
- Passion for resolving conflicts and can handle challenging conversations.
- Thrive on working in a team environment and collaborating with others.
- An empathetic and motivational approach to provide customer centric support.
- A driven professional with the ability to maintain a flexible approach across all levels of stakeholders.
- Ability to demonstrate resilience when having challenging conversations with multiple stakeholders.
