**About UTS**

We are excited to partner with UTS and the Faculty of Engineering and IT (FEIT) to help recruit a Content Marketing Officer. This role will plan, create, maintain and improve a range of content deliverables across the faculty's digital channels, especially the faculty website.

Your activities are designed to raise the profile of the faculty, and improve the faculty’s reputation and digital presence across owned, earned and paid channels.

**About the Role**

The position holder will plan, create, improve and promote content for the faculty's digital channels. Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to produce new content to working with the web specialist team to evaluate existing content and devise strategies this role offers a bit of everything.

In this role, you will report into the FEIT Marketing and Communications Manager, and will work closely with the Faculty Marketing and Communications team.

**In the role you will be responsible for;**
- Working with the Marketing and Communications Manager, web specialist team and internal stakeholders to evaluate existing content on the Faculty of Engineering and IT website, and devise strategies to improve the quality and presentation of this content
- Identifying high-value web content and leveraging it for other channels and formats, ensuring necessary approvals, consent and permissions have been granted.
- Evaluating content performance against agreed metrics and using insights to optimise future content
- Identifying opportunities to evolve web content and improve the quality, consistency and user experience.

**A bit about you**

To have success in the role you will have strong copywriting skills and proven project management experience. Additionally, you will have;
- Proven experience in a similar role and a degree-level qualification in marketing, communications, media, journalism or business or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
- Exceptional research, writing and digital production skills, with the ability to tailor style depending on communication channel, audience, content type and desired outcomes
- Demonstrated ability to create content that is meaningful to customers, while meeting the strategic objectives of the organisation.
- Knowledge of digital content and communication principles, including SEO, audience segments, measurement and evaluation
- Ability to measure, analyse and evaluate performance of content against agreed objectives, and use learnings to optimise future content
