ABOUT USThe Victorian Health Promotion Foundation (VicHealth) is a pioneer in health promotion and our primary focus is promoting good health and preventing chronic disease, using a systems approach. With the recent launch of our new strategy, we are on a journey to better serve Victorian communities by working with, through and for them.ABOUT THE ROLEThe Executive Manager, Corporate Services reports to the Chief Executive Officer and leads a team of 14 providing high quality finance, business improvement and ICT services to VicHealth. A key member of the Executive Leadership Team, the role is the Chief Finance and Chief Risk Management Officer, and responsible for developing positive working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. The role involves:
- Enabling VicHealth team members to perform their functions effectively and efficiently via the provision of high-quality business processes and systems;
- Meeting the requirements of VicHealth's governance structure, including all relevant legislative, financial, reporting and compliance requirements; and
- Providing executive-level leadership to the Corporate Services team.
**Your key responsibilities will include**:
- Overseeing development and implementation of VicHealth's budget and business planning process
- Ensuring VicHealth's ongoing compliance with the Standing Directions under the Financial Management Act, Financial Reporting Directions & Accounting Standards
- Leading the internal and external financial reporting, management and compliance functions
- Implementing a robust risk management and internal control framework
- Sustaining best practice in grant, contract and project management
- Driving ICT strategies aligned to business needs

- A relevant tertiary qualification, plus CPA/CA membership

- Strong knowledge and experience working with and optimising a range of ICT systems
- The ability to combine strategic financial management with the hands-on aspects and a preparedness to roll-up your sleeves to contribute more broadly to VicHealth
