- $142,219pa + super (up to 12%)
- Note, this rate is inclusive of a 10% above EBA payment allowance in recognition of any additional overtime, external market remuneration conditions and Council’s operational requirements of this position.
- Qld Local Government Industry Award (Stream A) - Level 8 of the MBRC EBA4 Certified Agreement
- 72.5 hour fortnight

**About our opportunity**
Our Asset Management Coordinator is a senior leader of the Asset Management Engineering team and Spatial Asset Services team meaning the successful applicant will be leading and managing a team of engineering specialists and technical officers who are responsible for the coordination and implementation of asset management practices and improvement activities, ensuring Council's assets are spatially captured and managed in an effective manner.
This will include:
- leading the development, implementation and review of asset management plans and improvement activities to achieve best practice asset management in line with ISO55000 standards
- leading the identification, verification and cleansing of asset data within Council's asset management and spatial systems, ensuring quality data is captured for effective optimisation of asset performance, utilisation and whole of life costs
- coordinating the capture of accurate condition assessment and defect data across all Council assets in accordance with appropriate technical specifications
- providing strategic and technical advice on the asset renewal modelling software set up and scenario modelling processes, ensuring effective development of Council's asset renewal programs
- managing the procurement of external professional services including inter alia, condition assessment contracts, technical studies and preparation of asset management plans
Additionally this position will have you building high level relationships with key stakeholders to improve asset design, maintenance and lifecycle effectiveness, and driving a high performance, continuous improvement and customer focused team culture while also driving the development of a council wide culture that integrates asset management processes into Council operations.
**About you**
We are looking for someone who has substantial knowledge and experience in the coordination and implementation of asset management practices and improvements and providing strategic and technical advice aligning with contemporary asset management principles, practices and systems.
Paired with the above listed experience, you will also hold a Degree in Engineering, a current C class driver's license and either be a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) or be working towards this qualification.
