About the role
Reporting to the Manager, Rural Pathways and Rural Generalist Training, the Rural Programs Administrative Officer provides high-level administrative support across the Rural Programs Portfolio, reviewing, implementing and monitoring policies and accredited training posts and registrar education/training plans, as well as liaising with registrars and stakeholders, maintaining accurate data across platforms.
**As our Rural Program Administrative Officer, you'll also**:
Assist with organising meetings, preparing agendas and taking minutes
Support rural GP training initiatives with administrative coordination
Liaise with registrars and program teams on training-related inquiries
Maintain data accuracy across systems in partnership with key teams
Update rural training guidelines, process and forms
Skills & Experience
Intermediate MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
High level administrations skills with some event coordination
Excellent communication skills with a strong track record in managing the coordination of competing tasks and priorities
Experience working in health and/or education setting (desirable)
File management & strong organisational skills
