Xylem is looking for a Strategy & Pricing Analyst at our Sydney or Brisbane Locations.

The Strategy & Pricing Analyst is a Key Supporting role for the development and execution of strategic growth and margin expansion projects for the Water Infrastructure (WI) segment team in Australia and New Zealand. This role supports strategic initiatives by preparing market research & analysis in the initial phase, as well as supporting the central coordination and measurement during the execution phase.

The role:

- Complete data analysis to drive transactional pricing excellence.
- Strategic Pricing projects in list price setting both newly launched & existing WI portfolio.
- Ad hoc pricing analysis to provide dashboards, key insights and recommended actions related to Price, Mix, Volume and Cost dynamics across the WI portfolio.
- Deploy & Measure 80/20 Initiatives and other Strategic Initiatives across the WI segment.
- Support the research, tracking and analysing the Market Size & Share for the WI portfolio across key end markets.
- Development of business cases and new business models for strategic projects & investments.
- Support continuous improvement activities across the business including working with cross-functional teams to achieve the required business outcomes.

About you:

- Tertiary Qualification in Engineering, Marketing or Business.
- Prior experience in an Analyst position (Highly desirable).
- Ability to analyse and interpret information to extract insights related to market trends.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate pricing strategies.
- High level attention to detail and precision.
