Engagement and Advocacy Coordinator

Support the development and implementation of the EACH Advocacy Framework.
- Support the rollout of Consultation Manager across EACH, acting as a master user and Consultation Manager champion to elevate the organisation’s engagement and advocacy work.
- Liaise with MP and Ministerial offices to schedule meetings for Executives and other EACH leaders.
- Develop and update materials such as briefing notes to support successful outcomes from MP and Ministerial meetings.
- Develop advocacy content and assets in collaboration with External and Internal Communications colleagues.
- Liaise with journalists and media outlets to secure coverage of EACH advocacy stories.
- Undertake other tasks as required by the Advocacy Manager.

**Qualifications**:
Bachelor level or equivalent journalism, communications or arts degree is preferred

**Skills**:

- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Capable writer across multiple channels and content types
- Highly organised
- Highly collaborative
- Good research skills.

Experience and Knowledge
- Experience in an engagement, communications or related role.
- Good knowledge of the health care and not for profit sectors.
- Good awareness of and interest in the political agenda and news media
