
Specification Manager

**Envirosystems** is seeking a **Specification Manager** to secure product specifications and drive business growth across NSW. Reporting directly to the leadership team, this role involves managing the end-to-end specification process - from identifying opportunities and building relationships, to providing technical solutions and ensuring successful project delivery. You’ll be a key link between clients, applicators, and internal teams, ensuring our products are the first choice for major commercial and infrastructure projects.

Due to continued growth and an expanding portfolio, we have an opportunity for the above role to join our team in Sydney, NSW.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with architects, engineers, designers, builders, applicators, and other key decision-makers to secure specification of Envirosystems products.
- Identify and pursue project opportunities through industry networks, EstimateOne, BCI, and other platforms.
- Provide detailed technical advice and product solutions in line with Australian building codes and standards.
- Deliver product presentations and training sessions for architects, specifiers, and applicators.
- Collaborate with internal technical teams to ensure product suitability and compliance with project requirements.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
- Manage the specification-to-installation process, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to client expectations.
**Requirements**:
- Experience in a specification, technical sales, or business development role within the construction, waterproofing, adhesives, or protective coatings sector.
- Strong network of contacts within the Sydney construction and specification market (architects, engineers, builders, applicators).
- Proven ability to identify, develop, and convert specification opportunities into sales.
- Sound technical knowledge of waterproofing, protective coatings, adhesives, or **related building products**.
- Confident communicator with excellent presentation skills and the ability to influence at all levels.
- Highly organised with strong project management capability.
- Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel locally as required.
**Nice to have**:
- Degree or diploma in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field.
- Experience with CRM systems and project tracking tools.
- Exposure to large-scale commercial or infrastructure projects.
- Understanding of tender and contract administration processes.
Pay: $86,512.01 - $135,890.55 per year
