Now is the time to join an organisation that empowers people in their role. **About the role** Min Res has an exciting opportunity for a Principal Groundwater Modeller to join our Iron Ore corporate team. Working Monday to Friday, based at our world-renowned Osborne Park office, your core focus will be to develop numerical groundwater models for operational and greenfield projects across the MinRes iron ore business. **Key Responsibilities** - Develop hydrogeological conceptual models - including data collation, analysis and interpretation - Develop calibrated hydrogeological groundwater models - Perform uncertainty and sensitivity analysis - Support approvals, licencing, and closure teams with developed groundwater models - Support dewatering and other mining operations with developed groundwater models - Communicate model results - via reporting and/or presentations where applicable - Work with other hydrogeologists within the MinRes team from concept to final stages of modelling - Ensure all stakeholders needs are met within a reasonable timeframe **What you’ll bring to the team** - Tertiary Degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, Geological Engineering or a Geoscience Degree with relevant experience in Hydrogeology - 7+ years in a similar modelling role - Demonstrated numerical and analytical skills - Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills - Proven experience in meeting deadlines and being agile to achieve project directive **And then there’s the extra benefits** We look after our people because they’re the ones looking after our business.
