Cloud Services Team Lead

Are you passionate about cloud services and ready to take on a leadership role? Comcare is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Services Team Lead to join our Technology and Information Management department. As the Cloud Services Team Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and migration of on-premise workloads to the cloud. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in managing and supporting key systems within our ICT environment.
**Responsibilities**:
- Ensure the development and support of cloud services adhere to appropriate procedures, standards, security, and controls.
- Contribute to building and maintaining a world-class cloud infrastructure team, focusing on utilization, availability, capacity, scalability, and performance.
- Establish and nurture strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders, effectively managing conflicts and sensitivities during periods of change.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic and operational business plans.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Comcare's long-term strategic and operational goals, considering agency-wide implications in your work.
- Lead, manage, and review programs, projects, or initiatives, driving continuous improvement and change.
- Actively participate in corporate learning and development activities.
- Promote a healthy and safe working environment, demonstrating ethical behavior consistent with the APS Code of Conduct and APS Values.
- Provide leadership by developing, coaching, and mentoring staff, fostering a commitment to shared goals.
- Represent the agency and articulate its views at cross-agency meetings and other forums.
- Implement and manage change in an environment of ambiguity.
- Identify innovative solutions and opportunities for continuous improvement in service quality and efficiency.
- Foster effective relationships with technical teams and clients to identify and implement solutions.
- Provide analysis and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
- Design, implement, and document solutions that meet business requirements and align with the organization's strategic direction.
- Monitor and manage the ICT environment to ensure a high-quality service.
**Qualifications**:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience managing delivery in a cloud environment and/or multi-datacenter environment.
- Proven experience leading the support and strategy of an infrastructure environment.
- Extensive understanding of IaaS/PaaS/SaaS/xaaS Cloud business models, user experience, and multi-tenancy architecture. Experience with best practices such as ITIL V3.
**Additional Information**:
This position may require some intra and interstate travel, including overnight absences.
