The Customer Research & Insights team is essential in providing Optus with market, customer, and competitor intelligence to support the mission of becoming Australia’s most loved everyday brand. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Insights Partners, the Analyst, Insights Partners plays a key role in this effort.
The Analyst, Insights Partners plays a key role in interpreting business trends, customer behaviours, and market dynamics, which are vital for the company's success. To develop and deliver actional insights to internal stakeholders, the role requires knowledge of various quantitative and qualitative research approaches, as well as understanding how to define problems, identify opportunities and interpret results. The Analyst will collaborate with different business partners throughout the entire research process, from capturing requirements and articulating problems to delivering actionable recommendations to the business.

Deliver high-quality insights through end-to-end research projects, from design and data collection to analysis and storytelling.
Communicate research outcomes effectively to drive business action based on insights.
Manage research projects using external agencies and DIY research tools.
Coordinate the internal research project pipeline, ensuring quality and timely results.
Collaborate with the team to explore new research methodologies, contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives, and maintain awareness of broader team activities.
It starts with you
Professional qualifications in related quantitative field together with hands on experience and exposure to a variety of research methodologies in a corporation or a research agency.
Experience in crafting and conducting research projects and developing research or vendor briefs.
Experience working with research agencies and platforms such as Qualtrics is preferred.
Ability to tell stories and formulate concise insights using a range of data sources.
High attention to detail, with phenomenal written and oral communication skills.
