Your role
As the Information Officer you will work within a small and supportive team to:

- Conduct risk assessments of third-party online services used within schools to ensure they comply with information privacy, security and interoperability standards. These risk assessments are published to an internal catalogue to support decision-making and usage in schools.
- Provide advice to internal and external stakeholders regarding the appropriate use of online services, leveraging knowledge of relevant legislation, policy and the national framework.
- Contribute to the resolution of support requests by responding to a broad range of online services matters, including investigation and development of customer responses.
- Monitor and prioritise delegated tasks and report on progress to the team and management.

The Information Officer, Safer Technologies, reports to the Manager, Safer Technologies, Governance, Cyber and Policy, Information and Technologies Branch, People, Information and Communication Services Division.
