We're looking for an exceptional Information Security Operations Specialist to be a key member of the HESTA's Information Security team

You will play a vital part in leading HESTA's security incident response capability and help identify and reduce security risks in our environment, collaborating with other others to resolve incidents as quickly as possible.

In this business-critical role, you will have responsibility for the day-to-day response to alerts and intelligence for defending our organisation from attacks, attackers, and weaknesses. The role reports into the Information Security Operations Manager and provides technical input into business planning, incidents, and issues, including conducting research on new threats. This role also supports the relationship with Managed Security Service Providers across both escalations and security incidents.

**About you**

Your influencing skills and ability to effectively communicate information security concerns to our business peers whilst supporting the implementation of our evolving security strategy will be valued and be matched by your colleagues within the Information Security team. You will be a technically minded and skilled Information Security practitioner who has had exposure to security operations, ideally having prior experiences as a security analyst or engineer. You will have input into HESTA's security operations and your valued input will drive our security tools to be appropriately configured and operating effectively for us to respond to internal and external threats.
