**About the Role**

We currently have an exciting Permanent opportunity for a IT Security Specialist to join our Technology team.

The IT Security Specialist will manage the implementation of corporate security policies, programs, and procedures, to cost-effectively protect information systems assets from intentional or inadvertent modification, disclosure or destruction.

**Functional Tasks & Responsibilities**
- Ensure that security processes are governed according to the principles outlined in the IT Security Framework
- Ensure that IT issues and risks are managed according to the IT Security Risk Management Policy
- Ensure security processes, procedures, standards, guidance and working documents are updated/improved to reflect the changing Illion’s IT environment
- Incident response procedures are up to date and roles and responsibilities are clearly known and practiced during an incident
- Monitors internal control systems to ensure that appropriate information access levels and security clearances are maintained.
- Monitors compliance with the organization's security policies and procedures among employees, contractors, alliances and other third parties and takes corrective action.

**Experience**
- Demonstrated ability around information security risk analysis and periodic information system activity reviews for information security processes.
- Solid multi-platform knowledge. Experience in UNIX, Windows, Linux, and IP intranet/Internet security environments including: firewalls, intrusion detection, incident response, policy writing, vulnerability testing, operating system hardening, regulatory compliance, and data classification.
- Demonstrable experience architecting and implementing security solutions, policies, and technologies relating to transactional web sites.
- Understanding of PCI DSS, ISO and ISM standards, identity management solutions
- Highly desirable to hold accreditations such as CISA, CISSP, CISM, SSCP, CCSP, CPP, CNSP, CNSA, ICSE
- Ability to monitor advancements in information security technologies which include Imperva WAF, VPN, End Point Response, Password Management System, and web proxy.
