**About the role**:
**Rockingham Hyundai & Suzuki **(part of Eagers Automotive) has a rare and exciting opportunity to join our team as a
**Sales Manager**

Reporting to the General Manager, this role will be responsible for the management of the Vehicle Sales Department as well as ensuring that the operations are both efficient and profitable. You will also be responsible for maintaining good employee and client relations whilst operating within ethical guidelines and in line with our company values.

**Duties will include**:

- Motivating, leading and developing the sales team
- Establishing and managing sales systems that include effective prospecting, demonstration, customer handling, closing and vehicle delivery programs
- Ensuring industry leading customer experience for all customers
- Ensuring that all sales objectives are achieved as well as full compliance with dealer and manufacturer standards
- Contributing to the profitability of the Vehicle Sales Department through the sale of vehicles, finance & insurance and aftercare products

Previous experience in a managerial automotive sales role would be highly advantageous. However, this role would also suit an experienced 2IC ready to make the next step in their career.

**You will ideally possess**:

- Experience in an Automotive Sales Management role (desirable but not essential)
- Experience in new and/ or used vehicle sales
- Willingness to maintain superior knowledge of applicable brands and products
- Proven track record of meeting KPI’s and performing in high pressure environments
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Have or be willing to obtain a Yard Manager’s Licence
- Manual Drivers Licence
